The main feature of the MEDIAJET is its great versatility. The system is transportable, and can be used for different sizes and types of Petri dishes, and test tubes of different lengths and diameters. MEDIAJET also features a ‘shaker mode’, which is advantageous for the use of ‘pour plate’ applications. With a filling rate of 900/1100 trays per hour, a carousel capacity of 360/540 90 mm Petri dishes, and a tubefiller filling rate of 1000 tubes per hour, this device is not for the lab with a small budget. MEDIAJET is not very small, but it is also not very large (60 by 60 cm), and weighs 47 kg. In addition, the device offers a built-in “Agar Spread Function”, which is responsible for a homogeneous distribution and an even surface of the agar.
