1.40 ml hybrid tubes and storage rack

The Micronic 1.40 ml Internal Thread Hybrid Tube combines permanent sample identification with secure cryogenic storage. Its transparent wall enables visual sample inspection, while permanently laser-etched 1D, 2D Data-Matrix, and human-readable codes provide reliable, automated identification. A blank section of the tube wall also allows handwritten markings for quick sample identification or verification during storage, retrieval, or fieldwork.

The internal screw cap with silicone O-ring provides a tight seal for reliable cryogenic storage. Thick tube walls and a sturdy design support long-term sample preservation at ultra-low temperatures, while the raised edge around the bottom code helps protect the 2D Data-Matrix code from scratches. Designed for automated workflows, the tube is compatible with Micronic ULT racks and automated handling systems.
